VOLUNTEERS

A Volunteer is an active member of the local Branch. We always need volunteers and friends to help with the variety of jobs and activities undertaken by the Branch. These include help and assistance with :

- general fundraising activities

- organising fundraising for the Branch

- administration/general running of the Branch

- publicity and raising awareness of our Branch locally

- training to become an Association Visitor

VISITING SERVICE

Our Branch has an active group of dedicated, local Visitors who are able to visit people with MND and their families/carers in their own homes. Visitors can undergo training from the MND Association to become Accredited Association Visitors and all Visitors are supported through the Regional Care Development Adviser.
